INVENTIVENESS OR HERESY? Summary Interest in icons that can be seen in the Western World during some last decades caused that new compositions come into existence. One of them is the icon of God the Father presenting a youthful carefreeness figure sitting on the throne. Lia Glandiolo - the author - justifies her inventive depiction pointing to the revelations of Mother Eugenia Rasavio. Due to the fact that the content of the revelations has been printed and widespread, the icon gains more and more popularity. Its innovative form leans however to reflection: may it stay within the range of the Christian iconographic tradition? Beginning with decisive Pope's Leon XIII encyclical the Church pays attention to explain and present in the light of the Manifestation of God everything what links with a human work. The article analyzes the most vital conclusions which result from social engagement of Catholic Church. Presented article shows the matter of work in the light of current challenges such as: eradication, consumerism and mainly the appearance of technological paradigm's primacy in contemporary culture. In this context the article is an attempt to answer the question, what is dogmatic value of human work in life which is overran by technology. The analysis is mainly based on Italian sources by Bruno Forte, who is the creator of mariological symbolism. The Author of the article doesn't limit himself only to summarising Forte's idea, but he also exposes the foundations of new mariological paradigm which origin starts in ecclesial's symbolism. It is based on esthetic compiling of traditional mariological content. Thanks to this, we can talk about mariological aesthetics, which the main axis is focused on appreciating the concrete idea on the one hand, and rooting in The Trinity's internal life on the other hand. Virgin Mary reveals "Everything" in "part", but not for the price of removing the fragmental. In this way, the balance between historical message and dogmatic aspect of Revelation is achieved. Relational understanding of Persons in the Holy Trinity is closely related to the concept of perichoresis. Most importantly, God is the Father. He is the Trinitarian source of Deity and exists in the Communion with the Son and the Holy Spirit. The mystery of love in God H.U. von Balthasar expresses with the help of the concept of kenosis, which did not take place only at the moment of incarnation or death of Jesus on the cross, but in God himself. In explaining of this image Balthasar does not use the full harmony of the meaning of communion, but dramatic metaphors of "killing", "expropriation", "separation" and even "absolute distinction" between the Father and Son. Primate Wyszyński puts God's love at the very center of his theological thought. The theme of God's love is discussed in seven sections: the first of them refers to the most famous words of Saint John's “Deus Caritas est" (1 Jn 4:8,16), which are a short and brief definition of God; the second section develops Cardinal Wyszyński's statement that there was a “time" in which only Love existed; the third section concerns the impartation of God's love; fourth section describes the love of the Father; fifth section speaks of the greatest Love, which is the Incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ; section six focuses on the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Love; the last section speaks of Mary, Mother of Beautiful Love. The whole ends with the summary. In his teachings on the love of God, Cardinal Wyszyński started with the inner life of the Triune God, with the Person of the Father, and then focuses on the salvific mission of the Son of God and the sanctifying action of the Holy Spirit. Christian faith and Christian life are both shaped in relation to this mystery. Therefore we can speak about the primacy of the Holy Trinity in the faith, which finds its expression in the gradual development and in the overall shape of Christian doctrine. It is worth noticing, that the Holy Trinity is also a subject of mystical experience. Starting with the New Testament, especially St. Paul, we can observe in the Church a progressive development of the conviction that the most elevated relation with God, that is mystical relation, has to be Trinitarian in character. It has been shown by the criteria of the Christian mysticism elaborated in theology. A special manifestation of the mystical experience is “ecstasy". It is rooted in the symbol of faith which synthetically reveals the subject of faith, that is the Holy Trinity together with the specific character of Its redemptive action. God's lowering towards man constitutes the foundation of the based on faith, man's rising towards God.
